Irish Security Industry Association elects its first female President, Sheenagh McCullagh

The Irish Security Industry Association
(ISIA), the representative body for the private security industry in
Ireland, last night elected its 22nd President and first female
President, Sheenagh McCullagh.

The ISIA's membership is representative of more than 70% of the turnover
in private security in Ireland. In this new role,Sheenagh's primary responsibility
will be to promote the memberships interests and develop professional
standards and best practice across the industry.

Sheenagh has been involved with the ISIA for the last six years and
previously held the roles of Vice President and Chairperson of the
electronic security division.

The ISIA is run by representatives from among its membership, who form a
Council of Management. Due to this structure, the officers that serve as
President and Vice President of the ISIA are of critical importance in
achieving the associations overall goals and promoting the interests of
the private security industry.

For the past seven years, Sheenagh has also worked as head of Human
Resources for electronic security systems and services provider, Stanley
Security Solutions, (formerly Niscayah).

Within her day-to-day role with Stanley Security, Sheenagh has a strong
focus on promoting the highest quality of standards and services for
employees and customers. She ensures continuous investment in employee
training and development and helps to build customer loyalty by
encouraging best in class professional practices throughout the company.

Sheenagh has helped Stanley Security Solutions successfully achieve the
QUALSEC Platinum quality standard, an industry standard for those
operating in the private security sector. This is in addition to the
environmental management standard, ISO 14001, and health & safety, OHSAS
