SunZu - The Art of Business proves to be the place to do business
More than 60 Irish entrepreneurs exchanged business ideas at a special event to
celebrate the launch of SunZu – the Art of Business in Dublin on Friday.
It was the first time these SunZu members had the opportunity to meet in person – after
forming relationships and connections online on SunZu.com.
The social business network site has over 4,000 members from Ireland and is growing
to become the leading platform for business owners around the world to connect, share,
trade skills and business.
SunZu has more than half a million members worldwide and a goal to become the online
network of choice for business owners and entrepreneurs.
SunZu Founder and CEO Lyndon Wood, SunZu Women’s Ambassador Samantha Kelly and
Irish entrepreneur and co-founder of Coderdojo, James Whelton, spoke at the official launch
event at Four Seasons Ice Bar in Dublin on April 26.
Irish business owners spent the afternoon networking and sharing their business insights
at the event.
Wood says face-to-face networking is still popular with small business owners and
entrepreneurs and SunZu offers opportunities for both online and in-person networking.
“The event was a great success and I met some top people. It was a real pleasure to
share the vision of SunZu and see how many business owners are so keen to be a part
of this new business social network,” says Wood. “SunZu is about meeting new
business friends, many networks have forgotten that business is about people.”
SunZu gives business owners a community in which they develop and thrive. Members
can bid for work and place work opportunities by creating an auction, form alliances,
arrange their connections into circles, publish articles and blogs online, and create and
attend networking events. SunZu really puts you at the front as the expert.
Complete with ‘Flashboard’, offering members statistics and real-time measurement
on their SEO (search engine optimisation) ranking and activity, including page views,
SunZu is a user-friendly site.
SunZu content is generated through its members’ highly optimised blogs, articles and
other content they post to the site.
SunZu aims to attract one million members by the end of this year. Currently most
members are in Ireland, the UK and USA, with increasing interest from India, Australia,
China and Europe.
Networking events are being arranged by members organically and can be seen in the
Events section on SunZu.com.
