Founders of Box, Nest,, AOL CEO Tim Armstrong and many more join Web Summit Lineup.

AARON LEVIE, the 27-year-old founder and CEO of cloud storage startup Box, will join the Web Summit lineup this year. Levie started Box when he was just 19, quitting college to pursue the venture that has since raised nearly $500m and is rumored to IPO in 2014. Levie will also judge the finals of the Summit’s startup event PITCH, which has a prize fund of €500,000.

Joining Levie in the latest round of announcements are: 

Tony Fadell, the founder of Nest, the world’s first learning thermostat as well as AOL CEO Tim Armstrong and Sheila Marcelo the CEO of

Serial entrepreneur and investor Mark Suster, and 500 Startups founder Dave McClure are among the new list of investors who’ll join for the Summit this October. 

Paypal President David Marcus, Google Ventures Partner Kevin Rose, Gilt CEO Michelle Peluso, Skype founder Niklas Zennstrom and Palantir founder Joe Lonsdale have already been announced.

This year, as the Summit expands into a festival of ideas it will also add 50 workshops hosted by General Assembly. These hands-on classes will cover topics in Technology, Business, and Design. The workshops are a unique opportunity that will give attendees front row access to an intimate environment, learning first-hand from some of Europe's top Web Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, Digital Marketers, and Entrepreneurs. Each session will be limited in size so pre-registration is recommended.

October’s Summit will bring together 7,000 attendees from right across the world including over 500 startups, 250 speakers, 300 investors and 350 members of the press. The Summit begins runs from October 30th – 31st in the RDS Dublin, Ireland.
