Together with the UK, Germany is the biggest market for securities crowdfunding in Europe, with a strong economy and already over one hundred projects that have raised significant amounts of capital. The phenomenon has been developing within the current legal framework which did not pose too stringent controls over platforms or issuers. Until now.
