Why the need for the Job Fair?

Biopharma is the fastest developing and most exciting area of health technology and research globally with over 40% of pre-clinical trials are for biological candidates. As home to substantial operations of 13 of world’s top 15 pharmaceutical companies, Ireland is at the centre of this cutting edge research.

Hundreds of openings exist in Ireland, but real world training and upskilling is needed because biotech products are complex and difficult to manufacture.

NIBRT’s state of the art facility is unique globally and is focussed on delivering world-class training solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry in Ireland and abroad. Operational since late 2011, NIBRT employs 35 people and has a capital investment of €57m in its 6,500-m2 state-of-the-art pilot scale manufacturing plant. In 2014 NIBRT delivered 14,000 learning days to 3,300 trainees.
