Irish Technology Consultancy Flies High With Microsoft Cloud Services

E-MIT Solutions, a leading Irish IT consultancy firm, today announced it is rolling out new services to Irish businesses. E-MIT will deliver Microsoft’s Azure Site Recovery (ASR) services to new and existing customers. The company was recently awarded Gold Partner Status, reserved for Microsoft’s most highly accredited independent technology solutions providers.

Through ASR, E-MIT will be able to replicate its customers’ servers, applications and data in the cloud so that in the event of a disaster, they can have full access for any period of time until the problem is fixed. The announcement follows E-MIT’s successful rollout of Microsoft’s Office 365 services to customers, which saw an increase of 78% in revenue and 30 new customers over a six-month period.

“ASR represents a huge opportunity for our customers,” said Eamon Moore, owner and managing director, E-MIT Solutions. “Customers can be safe in the knowledge that their employees can access applications remotely and continue to work despite a server malfunction, fire, flood, or any other disaster. Historically, only large scale enterprises could avail of that kind of solution, but this is an affordable solution that will allow for a more level playing field.

“E-MIT is a consultancy first, and an IT solutions provider second,” says Moore. “Our message to SMEs is that they can be as competitive in the market as large companies. We achieved a great deal of success in implementing the full suite of Office 365 services to our clients. The feedback was fantastic and it allowed their confidence in Cloud to grow. Many asked what was next – for us Microsoft Azure and in particular Azure Site Recovery is the answer.”

“E-MIT’s evolution into the innovative Cloud Services Consultancy is inspiring,” said Martin Cullen, Sales Director, Microsoft. “In a very short timeframe, E-MIT has become a specialist consultancy of Microsoft Cloud solutions and we are delighted that they are now a Microsoft Gold partner.”
