Belfast Raise Launches in Belfast

Hosted in association with the Northern Ireland Startup Forum and, the Belfast Raise will pair startup companies with investors and advisors seeking opportunity. From startups in the earliest stages to scale ups seeking rapid growth the event will feature five 15 minute funding pitches with Q&As and five short and snappy introductions from more early stage startups.

In scale ups we have AirPOS, the UK’s only ePOS and ecommerce software creator for SME retailers currently helping over 1000 retail sites to grow their businesses and Performa Sports, a leading sports analytics software maker with a broad set of specialties from GAA to football including recent Premier League champions Leicester City FC.

In startups we have, just freshly graduated from Techstars London the world’s most successful startup accelerator. Hurree help app companies to market themselves more effectively through personalisation of their messaging via push notifications, email and other channels.
Next, from the founders of Typecast (acquired by Monotype), we have is solving the widespread problem of qualifying online prospects for product demos saving software companies time and valuable resources by streamlining their sales processes.
Lastly in startups we have Saunter from the North West, helping people via their app to connect and stay connected with real-world friends, services, events and more.
Also on the night we'll have five short five minute intros from companies wanting to graduate to a full pitch. From tourism through innovative thinking on education and drug addiction wellness they're a diverse bunch for this first event.

The first Belfast Raise event will take place at Entrepreneurial Spark in Lombard Street, Central Belfast from 4pm - 7pm on November 2nd. Investors interested in attending can register on our private Eventbrite page at or contact Michael Mcdowell at

Investors interested in opportunity or their advisors. The event will be fairly informal and no name badges or introductions will be made. We're very much of the mindset that the Belfast Raise will exist solely to introduce entrepreneurs to investors, we want it to about forming relationships and accelerating success.
